coordinating functions also include maintaining legal registry, training of team members on OHS, managing the OHS and food safety events calendar, weekly and monthly reporting and supporting the risk and compliance team as needed.

The following are requirements:

- SAMTRAC or occupational health and safety act training
- a valid first aid certificate is essential
- hazard identification and risk assessment certificate
- ISO 22000:2018/FSSC 22000 v5.1/advanced HACCP.
- knowledge of food fraud mitigation and food defense
- knowledge of SAATCA regulation 638 food safety principles.
- knowledge of food safety internal and supplier auditing
- knowledge in land-use and local by-laws would be an advantage
- knowledge of document control.
- ideally the incumbent will have an auditor certificate
- other skills and qualifications that we will look for include;
- working on heights and fall protection plan training
- chemical handling certificate
- fire certificate
- PRP training

we are looking for at least 3 to 5 years’ experience in Occupational Health and Safety Act and food safety, ideally within the wine industry.
