At KCS the primary role of the Product Manager is to take ownership of the global product strategy for the product. The Product Manager works closely with customers, business stakeholders and R&D leaders to ensure there are clear strategic and value driven business cases to support our delivery priorities.

The Web-Commerce Product range includes 3 Web Solutions (WebTrade, WebBuilder, WebPro) available to the market, which integrates to existing ERP Solutions to provide an online shopping experience. The team focuses on improving the base product offering but also spend time developing custom solutions to meet specific customer requirements.

We have a suite of Mobile Solutions we offer across a range of our existing ERP solutions. The Product Manager will be responsible for defining the scope of our eApps as well as our value proposition and how we can extend this value across more of our ERP’s over time.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Product Marketing
- Be the go-to guy when it comes to product positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and enables the sales and marketing teams to ensure they’re aligned, so they can work efficiently to generate and close opportunities.
- Works with the rest of the leadership team to define the value proposition of vertical solutions

Product Strategy
- Engage with Portfolio Director and senior leaders to define the strategic direction
- Interpret market needs, competitor product information, customer requirements and business input to structure, guide, and prioritise product scope.
- Be the go to product contact for the business and lead business case and use case workshops with customers and stakeholders to ensure critical information is captured to drive commercial success
- Define and monitor key metrics to measure the success of the product and implement mechanisms to drive data-driven product decisions.

Requirement Analysis
- Elicit high level customer and stakeholders problem and value statements and work with Solution Design to flesh out and break down requirements into manageable components
- Validate each business case and act as the voice of the customer user, continuously driving product value throughout the portfolio.
- Effectively balance both customer specific and strategic initiatives in the roadmap and provide clear visibility on roadmap priorities with supporting business cases and analysis

Product Roadmap and Priority Management
- Manage, refine, prioritise and communicate the product roadmap, to ensure it is in line with overall product strategy and sustainable business growth
- Work closely with the Head of Projects and Customer Success to align product roadmap activities with customer specific project objectives
- Proactively communicate goals to stakeholders and manage expectations of delivery. Escalate large trade-offs and necessary decision points as needed.

Product Delivery
- Brief architects and technical leads on what is expected and help facilitate the discussion to define technical solution options and associated costs for delivering solutions aligned with expectation
- Actively collaborate with the Head of Delivery to drive resource efficiency and discover any cross-pollination opportunities for maximum value with mínimal cost
- Actively take decisions to re-align priorities and focus the team on the right objectives for optimal product success

**Key Requirements**:
Experience & Knowledge:

- As the Product Manager for Web-Commerce, previous experience in managing eCommerce
- type products is essential
- Experienced in working with different senior level business, partner and customer stakeholders within a global context to solicit what they are trying to achieve and the commercial benefits any solution will bring to all parties
- Experienced in working with and leading Agile delivery and business teams for business management software development companies (e.g. Scrum or Kanban)
- Experienced in leading, developing and coaching teams and senior stakeholders to build a collaborative self-organised enterprise and trust culture
- Expert knowledge of the Kerridge Commercial Services markets/customers and use cases in which our core products are present
- Experienced in budgeting processes with a focus on product profit and loss to justify investment business cases
