**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage the mining operations, ensuring production targets are met in a safe and cost-effective manner.
- Develop and implement mining plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure efficient and effective mining operations.
- Monitor mining and processing operations to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal regulations and standards.
- Implement and manage effective systems for reporting, data analysis, and cost control.
- Manage and supervise a team of mining professionals, including contractors and service providers.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all mining-related reports and documentation.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and government agencies.
- Implement and manage training and development programs for mining personnel

**Requirements**:

- National Diploma / Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or related field
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in mining operations
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team of mining professionals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of mining regulations and standards in the area and experience working with local communities and government agencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective mining plans, schedules, and budgets
