A luxury Lodge inside the southwestern region of the Kruger National Park is seeking a Junior Sales Coordinator to represent the business in the market. You will be working from the Durbanville office, the sales manager's office, as well as your own home office. You will be assisting the Sales Manager with liaising with 3 rd. Party Distributors (Wholesale, Retail agents and Consortia) in South Africa and other Countries. Assist the Sales Manager with positioning the business, its services and offerings, in the marketplace with the intention of maximising occupancy at the highest possible rate, driving REVPAR. This includes developing existing markets and securing new business. The role ensures that 3 rd. Party Distributors receive timely deliveries of up-to-date Service, Rate and Promotional/Campaign information for inclusion in marketing materials. The Junior Sales Coordinator attends trade shows and events within South Africa to promote and sell the Lodge and its services. Assist with Admin and appointments. Keeping the database up to date.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Build relationships with 3 rd party distributors.
- Attend trade shows and sales events to showcase the property to the market.
- Successful complaint resolution.
- Proactively identify key trade partners and plan activations.
- Communicate standards and expectations of our agents and guests to team members.
- Perform competitive benchmark studies, follow market trends, and provide input to sales strategies aligned with the vision of the business, to maximise opportunities and mitigate risk
- Accuracy and completeness of supplier contracts
- Adherence to rate and offering information distribution deadlines.
- Follow all departmental and Lodge, health, safety and security policies, processes, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure that the Sales CRM system is kept up-to-date and accurate.
- Ensure that all Sales Activity reports are produced accurately and timeously.
- Ensure that all collateral is correct, updated and user-friendly for trade.
- Manage the cost of distribution - ensure the correct commission is awarded to 3rd party distributors.
- Assist in setting accommodation budgets.
- Assist in making and setting up appointments with agents.
- Provide product training to agents.
- Partaking in the process to achieve accommodation budgets.
- Setting and keeping within the parameters of the sales expense budget to affect savings where possible without compromising quality and revenue.
- Provide input to override agreements, to drive incremental revenue generation.
- Strict confidentiality of customer information.
- Personal and professional integrity of the highest standard.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Preferably a bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration
- 2+ years of sales experience within a Luxury Hospitality environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel when required.

**MEASURABLE DELIVERABLES**:

- Accommodation and Sales Expense budget review
- Organise site inspections for agents.
- Accommodation budget achieved/exceeded.
- Assist in defining and executing the Sales strategy for the future.
- Penetration and growth of identified source markets.
- Re-assess and enhance source market focus.
- Re-assess and improve STO structure.

- Even though the Lodge is located inside the southwestern region of the Kruger National Park, you will be working between the Durbanville office, the sales manager's office, as well as your own home office in Cape Town.
