**Job Description
- Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:
**Safety**:
**Performance and Delivery**:
Effective provision of Tactical Response Services in the organization
- Liaise with the TRS Team in support of administration and logistics to ensure statutory and mandatory compliance.
- Ensure that applicable Safety, Regulations, Legislation, Codes of practice and standards applicable to TRS are maintained.
- Maintain availability of good working conditions of materials, resources and equipment, also ensuring that equipment issued and used during deployments are secured and safeguarded.
- Support regular audits and observations required including inventory audits and to ensure all assets are accountable for.
- Provide support to the Tactical Response Team during emergencies and injuries.
- Ensure that security initiatives facilitate the need of the operation.
- Support the protection of company employees, contracted employees and assets in high-risk situations.
- Ensure accurate reports are compiled and submitted within given timeframes.
- Support disciplinary and grievance inquiries, act as a witness when called upon in criminal and disciplinary cases.

Information gathering and conducting of effective administration and logistics to support tactical Response Services
- Facilitate the process of timeous delivery of goods and services by suppliers.
- Address logístical challenges within Tactical Response Services to ensure prompt implementation of tactical deployments throughout all business units.
- Conduct time and attendance, including managing travel logistics for the Tactical Response Service Team.
- Ensure compliance with transportation, legal compliance, licensing of vehicles and firearms, permits, authorizations and appointments
- Ensure accurate records are maintained of training, personnel, meetings, purchasing and all other relevant activities.

Good employee Public Relations
- Maintain a trusting and mutual respect relationship, including effective communication with Tactical Response Services team members.
- Maintain discipline and ensure fair decisions regarding ER policy.
- Testify in criminal court/CCMA / disciplinary cases.
- Maintain good relationship with general public, identify potential conflict situations and minimize the implications.
- Participation in investigation / information gathering improvement projects as efforts to manage operational challenges.
- Cultivate necessary information sources and gather relevant information.
- Identify risks and threats to the process/functions proactively

**People & Teams**:

- Actively engage as a team member in all team processes.

**Compliance**:

- Adherence to Anglo American internal and external compliance (legislative, regulatory, permitting) requirements

**This role is at a GBF 7 level reporting to the **Manager Tactical Response Services

**_Qualifications

**Prescribed**:

- Grade 12
- NQF Level 5 qualification in Security Management or equivalent (RPL may apply)

**Desirable**:

- Company driver’s license will be advantageous.
- Armoured vehicle driver training will be advantageous.
- Firearm qualifications (Statement of Results for Business purpose and SAPS Competency) will be advantageous

Certification:

- Valid driving license code B (code EC1 would be advantageous)
- Registered with PSIRA Grade A

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in administrative and logistics within security environment.
- 1 to 2 years’ supervisory experience

**Technical knowledge(experience) required for role**:

- Ability to keep information secured and secretive.
- Maintain confidentiality on all investigations / information gathering.
- Ability to function during stressful situations.

**Technical Skills**:

- Advanced computer literacy skills.
- Advanced knowledge of applicable business reports writing.
- Proficient in business related operating systems (SAP Fiory, IntelliShare, Qmed, Egencia, Concur etc.
- Advanced skills in statement taking and report writing.
- Advanced interpersonal and communications skills (spoken, written and reading).
- Advanced skills in presentation and handling of evidence in court/disciplinary hearing.
