**Background**
The General Inspection supports BNPP Paribas and all its subsidiaries for a changing world. Just like its clients, the Bank operates in an increasingly complex and evolving environment, both in terms of regulation as well as technologies and processes.
The General Inspection allows you to acquire not only expertise in internal control and risk, a prerequisite for supporting a banking group in constant evolution, but also a cross-sectional vision of the Group, thereby contributing to the training of the managers of tomorrow.
General Inspection employees assess the levels of risk incurred, the control processes implemented to manage these and managerial performance.
Throughout the course of your engagements, you will be asked to quickly analyse various situations to identify the risks and issues, conduct on-site investigations, issue quality findings and propose recommendations to the group’s leaders.

**Main Purpose Statement**
The primary purpose of the role is to execute on the internal audit framework of the Company in order to protect the integrity of its activities and reputation. This role forms part of the Inspection Générale, which provides an objective assurance on Processes and Controls while highlighting risks to the Top Management and BNP Paribas Group globally.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure that processes are compliant with local regulations, internal procedures as well as BNP Paribas Group policies
- Formulate quality findings and recommendations in order to remediate the identified gaps pertaining to this referent framework
- Assess the actions of the management teams audited
- Contribute to and produce key deliverables such as concise feedback to auditees, assignment results, assignment reports etc.
- Ensure that results are delivered within the internal deadlines
- Presenting the final audit results to the Top Management
- Remain abreast of key local regulatory development
- Share knowledge and expertise with other team members
- Maintain his or her skills and expertise through continuing training on the important changes in the profession and the banking industry; and
- Demonstrate good ethical behaviour

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, mathematics or business administration.
- Certified Internal Auditor or equivalent
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) would be an asset
- Experience in the principles and practices of internal or external auditing
- Knowledge of banking practices in credit risk, market or operational management
- Knowledge of compliance standards in the financial sector
- Technical knowledge of IFRS would be beneficial
- Knowledge of Basel III rules and European Banking Authority (EBA) Guidelines would be an asset
- Good knowledge in Data Analytics, preferable in Power BI and / or Tableau would be beneficial
- Good presentation skills
