A opportunity has become available for a technically strong Financial Reporting Specialist within a credit and lending company. The successful incumbent will be responsible for statutory and regulatory financial reporting including the compilation of statutory reporting packs, annual financial statements, VAT and Income Tax returns.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with corporate deadlines
- Prepare provisional Tax calculations and submission of Provisional Tax returns
- Review the audit files and working papers before submission to the auditors
- Reviewing the VAT calculations and VAT201 Return submissions
- Review of journals
- Prepare/Review monthly Income tax calculations as well as deferred tax calculations
- Completing the annually insurance declaration and performing supporting calculations
- Coordinate annual external auditing process
- Design, monitor and implement internal financial controls, practices, and processes
- Financial reporting
- Preparing Annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS
- Review of monthly Balance Sheet recons

**Requirements**:

- CA(SA)
- 2 years post article experience
