**About the role**

As a Sales Executive - Quota Carrier, you’ll be part of a team of self-motivated, high achieving sales professionals helping Corporates grow their businesses. By providing industry-leading solutions, you’ll drive some of the most exciting new technology in fintech while advancing the way the world pays, banks and invests.

**About the team**

This role is in our Africa Capital Markets Sales team. In today's volatile marketplace, efficient management of cash flow is a key driver for success. A holistic view of the Treasury and Payments functions will help corporates mitigate risk and optimize liquidity. FIS’s treasury management solutions suite provides the client with a single view of cash and risk which can then optimize businesses processes for improved management of credit risk, cash management, treasury management and payments processing. By fostering collaboration between suppliers, buyers, banks, and trading partners, organizations can improve the flow of data across the financial supply chain.

**What you will be doing**
- Sell products and/or services with a focus on Treasury Management for corporates and develop new account relationships.
- Solicit and maintain network of prospects using a combination of FIS campaigns, Webinars, and your own initiatives.
- Target market will be Corporates in approved Sub Sahara territories.
- Initiate contact with prospective customers to sell targeted FIS products and/or services.
- Record sales activity and manage full pipeline in CRM tool.
- Demonstrate product knowledge including various solutions, markets, and competitive intelligence.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business sales opportunities in the target market.
- Prepare and present proposals to clients utilizing FIS resources and tools.
- Negotiate, structure and close deals that meet customer expectations and FIS’s ability to deliver; utilize appropriate company resources per the resources plan to provide product marketing support or specialized product sales expertise.
- Development and execution of sales plans and strategies.
- Meets sales goals and objectives.

**What you bring to the role**
- Good understanding of FIS products and services
- Good experience in managing a complex, enterprise, consultative sales process.
- Requires expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Requires solid decision-making and problem-solving skills, analytical skills to determine client business needs and requirements.
- Excellent experience in consultative selling; experience in enterprise class software essential
- Ability to show established track record of involvement in industry trade groups preferred.
- Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, clients and public.
- Travel is required
- Ability to work as part of a team, provide effective process updates internally and externally.
