**Purpose of the Position**

The Transport Manager is responsible for managing, planning and coordinating Transport operations, which includes loading, delivery and driver management.

The **Key Functional responsibilities** of the Transport Manager includes but is not limited to:
**Financial Responsibility**:

- To ensure that all cost incurred is maintained within budget.
- Present and report monthly financials.

**Operational**:

- Delivery Schedule Management to ensure effective and efficient execution of all deliveries.
- Do route management for optimization and do tracking of vehicles and deliveries according to schedules.

**Computer Literacy Required**
- MS Office ( PowerPoint, Projects, Word, Outlook)
- Advanced MS Excel Skills
- Advanced System Skills capabilities - with the ability to learn new systems quickly.

**Minimum Requirements**:
5-7 years experience required in Transport

Grade 12 is compulsory with Relevant Tertiary Diploma, Degree or, Honors Degree in Logistics and Transportation Management or similar

Good Warehousing & Distribution, Transport, FMCG, QRS Management. Union Experience as well as knowledge of the **NBCRFLI** required.

Intermediate to advanced Computer literacy MS Excel, Outlook PowerPoint, Advanced (WMS) Skills and GP skills
