One of our client ikn the banking sector is hiring Cross Border Payments Processing Officer on a 6 Months Contract

Responsibilities include:

- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of all transactions: You are responsible for processing various types of transactions on a daily basis. This includes tasks such as recording financial transactions, verifying data accuracy, and updating relevant systems or databases. Your goal is to ensure that all transactions are processed promptly and without errors.
- Mitigating risk: You play a crucial role in managing and minimizing risk within the organization. This involves adhering to established processes and procedures to ensure that all transactions are conducted in a secure and compliant manner. By following these guidelines, you help safeguard the organization against potential risks or fraudulent activities.
- Adhering to cut-off times: There are specific deadlines or cut-off times for various processes and transactions. It is your responsibility to ensure that all tasks are completed within these designated timeframes. Meeting cut-off times is essential for maintaining smooth operations and ensuring that financial or operational activities are not disrupted.
- Managing daily receipts and dispatch: You are responsible for handling incoming receipts and outgoing dispatches. This may involve processing payments, reconciling accounts, preparing invoices, or verifying the accuracy of financial documents. By efficiently managing these activities, you contribute to the smooth flow of financial operations within the organization.
- Online and SWIFT message processing: Your role involves working with online platforms and SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) messages. This may include processing electronic transactions, verifying message content, and ensuring the accurate transfer of funds or information between financial institutions. Your attention to detail and adherence to procedures are crucial for maintaining the integrity of these processes.
