**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- Minimum matric is essential for this role.
- A Diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping or related creditors qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience having worked in a Debtors role is preferred.
- Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Must have Excel experience working on spreadsheets, and reports etc.
- Knowledge of sage or a related ERP System is preferred.
- Proven success in achieving debt collection targets is advantageous.
- Person must have a strong and confident and outgoing personality.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and follow policies and procedures.
- Capturing all approved invoices and credit notes onto the companys system.
- Producing customer statements and distributing to appropriate account managers and management as required.
- Receiving all proof of payments and remittances and receipt and allocating accurately.
- Following-up on late and overdue accounts, as per schedule.
- Updating, monitoring and reconciling all information dashboards daily.
- Generating age analysis reports weekly.
- Facilitating the weekly debtors meeting, collating action minutes and following-up on items and updating collection targets.
- Establishing and maintaining customer relationships and ensuring that the correct payment procedures are followed.
- Assisting with queries from customers and staff, as required.

**Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
