- The yard Supervisor will be responsible for yard and warehouse operations, and compliance with relevant Safety standards. Ensure housekeeping is at a high level, healthy environment for all workers is kept and environmental standards in compliance with company policy. Set up storage locations including racking and bins as required and make sure access and security is in place. Safe loading and offloading of materials and equipment. Supervise the maintenance of construction equipment and scrapping of redundant items. Manage inventory, perform maintenance, and ensure readiness and recordkeeping of certified equipment. Overseeing personnel with good leadership is always necessary and train people on how to do their job. On a daily basis the Yard Supervisor will report to his manager, ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.**Job description**

- Supervising employees and tasks
- Planning and organising of daily tasks
- Effectively communicating tasks to employees
- Coordinating maintenance and availability of plant, tools and equipment
- Completing and submitting of daily documentation in due time
- Reporting of problems encountered during daily tasks/activities
- Keeping a strict time schedule to ensure targets are met
- Meet operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews.
- Implementing production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards.

- The effective **planning** of daily tasks.
- Exceptional **Organisation** and **coordination** of employees, plant and equipment.
- Daily updating and **control** over record keeping.
- Enforcing **compliance **with safety regulations
- Excellent **management** and **problem-solving** skills when encountering problems and delays.

**Minimum requirements**

**Experience**:

- At least 3 years Plant Yard exposure and experience
- Previous experience as Supervisor with relevant certificates
- High job demand in tight turnaround time requirement
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- People and time management

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma
- Supervisory skills

- Legal Liability
- HIRA
- Planned task observations
- First Aid Level II
- Valid driver’s license
