**Job Title**: Senior IT Enterprise Data Architect

**Location**: Onsite - Cape Town (CBD), Contract Role

The role requires a Visionary Leader in the IT Organisation focused on delivery of IT Data Architecture across cloud and on - premise systems that includes data acorss the data chain. This role includes:

- Using Data Architecture artifacts (blueprints) to define data requirements, guide data integration, control data assets and align data investments based on business strategy
- Collaborating with, learning from and influencing varios stakeholders that are engaged with improving the business or IT systems development as it relates to Data components and data dependencies
- Using Data Architecture to establish the semantics of an enteprise, via a common business vocabulary
- Support the Development and implementation of an overall organisational data strategy that is in line with business processes. The srategy includes Technical data model designs, database devlopment standards, data tranformation design, implementation and supporting operationalisation of Master & Transactional data design and management.
- Identifying data sources, both internal and external, and working out a plan for data management that is aligned with organisational data strategy.
- Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for the smoot functionaing of the enterprise data system.
- Defining and managing the flow of data and dissemination of information within the organisation.
- Integrating technical functionality, ensuring data accessiblity, accuracy and security
- Conducting a continuous audit of data management system performance, refine whenever required and report immediately any breach or loopholes to the stakeholders

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role.
- In-depth understanding of data management principles and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of cloud and on-premise data architectures.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with data modeling tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to lead and collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
