**Role Purpose**

The purpose of the Senior Legal Advisor role is to provide legal advisory and regulatory support services related to multi-functional activities across the Group, including non-RSA. The role interacts with a variety of internal and external stakeholders such as operational functional teams, attorneys, consultants etc. Business stakeholders will look to you for proactive, collaborative legal advice on a variety of legal topics.

**Role Description**
- Providing general legal support and advice to functional business.
- Drafting various commercial agreements including lease, purchase and sale, service, financial agreements.
- Review legal documentation and provide advice.
- Providing support and legal advisory services to other operational entities.
- Drafting and facilitating board resolutions as required.
- Providing legal advice and opinions (with or without external legal opinion or referral).
- Drafting and facilitating legal correspondence. (e.g., letter of demand, etc.)
- Overseeing legal matters that require external legal assistance.
- Working with the compliance team and functional business areas to assess legal compliance, and support activities to remedy legal non-compliance - support the legal team to identify deficiencies in internal controls, policies and other contractual orientated agreements and templates.
- Provide support with ad hoc multi-disciplinary projects that require regulatory input, which includes, but is not limited to new laws and regulations to be implemented, due diligence reviews of third parties and/or employees, strategic planning sessions and new products and services etc.

**Qualifications and experience**
- LLB or equivalent complete - (essential).
- Registered attorney with related experience - (essential).
- +3 years' experience in a Legal Advisory capacity, processing legal agreements, administrative documentation and litigating as applicable; within the context of Group wide Regulatory / Legal frameworks, policies, procedures, and guidelines - (essential).
