**COMMUNICATIONS PROJECT MANAGER**

The Communications Project Manager is responsible the development and implementation communication strategies and a broad and diverse range of business and marketing communications. The Communications Project Manager manages the creation of digital/social media campaigns and properties, the development and implementation of social media strategies.

**JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Facilitate and manage communication plans and campaigns to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage all elements of the project such as technology utilization, communications, training, development
- Online community management and reputation management to increase sentiments and brand awareness
- Planning and implementation of communication strategies and campaigns
- Storytelling and content development
- Liaise with client teams to stay up to date with projects and initiatives to ensure brand consistency and functional support
- Act as a point of communication for all parties to ensure information regarding progress and problems are known and understood
- Actively offer support to staff and executives as requested
- Assist with events planning and roll out
- Create reports and insight analysis on a weekly or monthly basis
- Stay up to date with communication and marketing technology trends
- Oversee and assist in campaign execution from initial stages to delivery
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures
- Offer support to clients, communicate with clients, and ensure client satisfaction
- Reviewing deliverables prepared by the team before they are sent to the client to ensure exceptional quality
- Create and manage project timelines, estimates and purchase requests that are in accordance with company’s budget in order to ensure timely billing **.**:

- Collect and analyse performance of client projects and briefs
- Make use of high-tech analysis tool, working on CRM and business intelligence to improve the engagement.
- Provide regular (weekly, monthly and interim) reports internally and externally
- Research and develop briefs involving creative packaging, design, website, communities and other digital and social media executions.
- Create and publish original social media content that engages audience and aligns with company’s brand identity
- Develop strategies, manage and implement all social media activities and calendars
- Support the creative team with copy on designs for client briefs
- Manage and oversee social media content, posts and campaign execution
- Assist with development of brand websites to ensure efficiency and efficacy
- Analyse existing website traffic and internet activity related to the company and clients
- Develops innovative strategies to attract traffic and engagement to brands through various digital platforms, programs and search engine optimization (SEO) techniques
- Oversees the implementation, compilation and analysis of data to measure the effectiveness of digital plans, through the use of analytical tools such as Facebook Insights and Google

Analytics, to monitor brand social media presence and performance
- Proof reading and checking all content prior to distribution
- Pro-actively manage social media communities and ensure strong engagement with social media communities
- Maintain current knowledge of online marketing opportunities and trends, web analytics, and

SEO techniques
- Offer support to clients and communicate with clients to ensure client satisfaction
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and lead a team
- Ability to offer sound communications and digital/social media relations advice to senior leadership
- Ability to work under pressure

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in marketing or advertising or similar qualification

**EXPERIENCE**
- 5+ years experience in advertising, marketing/PR industry
- 5+ years of proven Project Management and communication in advertising/ marketing or any related field
- 5+ years of client engagement experience
- 5+ years of experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software

**Salary**: R30,000.00 - R50,000.00 per month
