**Responsibilities**:

- Verification of equipment
- Verification of cleaning chemicals
- Quality checks on final packed product
- Traceability checks on primary packaging material
- Raise and complete non-conformances
- Verification of PRP’s, OPRP’s and CCP’s
- Hygiene and GMP inspections
- Pest control inspections
- Assist with customer complaints
- Inbound and Outbound inspections
- Glass and Hard plastic inspections
- Complete monthly QFS reports
- Must be able to draft documents (SOP’s, check sheets, procedures)
- Knowledge of FSSC 22000, AIB, IBL standards advantageous

Qualifications:

- Grade 12 NSC
- Diploma in Food Technology would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices in the Food Production Industry included but not limited to: Integrated pest management, document control, training and development, traceability, raw material/supplier quality assurance, lab experience
- Experience working with standards including but not limited to: FSSC 22000, AIB, South African Retailer Standards
- Functioned as part of a Food Safety Team
- Conversant with relevant legislation in the Food Industry
