**Key purpose**:
To enable our company to achieve its 2025 growth targets through delivery of profitable and sustainable sales growth and customer retention in Mpumalanga.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Implementing a region-specific safety strategy based on the principles of ZERO HARM which delivers compliance and behavioural change in the region;
- Responsible for delivering on the regional operating plan and business commitments with regards to ensuring that monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets are met;
- Creating and executing new business growth strategies that ensures budget achievement and increased market share with a focus on projects that promote achievement of customers and sustainability goals;
- Managing account profitability of existing Base Business;
- Mitigating the risk of customer attrition by building effective personal relationships with key senior customer stakeholders, ensuring that all aspects of Business Excellence are correctly applied and customer retention tools are implemented and used to its full effect;
- Leveraging other Company relationships where relevant in order to build strategic customer relationships;
- Managing a team of service delivery and operational employees towards achievement of regional budget expectations;
- Utilising Human Capital tools for goal setting, employee development and performance management as well as by personal coaching and training;
- Responsible for living and demonstrating Company values.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- Resides in Middelburg / Witbank area;
- Matric / Grade 12;
- Degree or Diploma in commercial/business or technical field with > 5 years experience in similar level positions;
- A proven track record of related sales and growth generation achievements;
- Mining / Heavy industry / Process / Engineering expertise and related technical abilities / achievements;
- Extensive knowledge in cooling and boiler water treatment, liquid/solid separation, influent/effluent and membrane technologies;
- Ownership of key strategic relationships in the industry / geography;
- Must have knowledge and experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment systems;
- Must possess a high level of business acumen and understanding of financial management concepts;
- Above average computer skills Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
- Must be in possession of a valid drivers licence.
