Our local and offshore investment products cover the full investment spectrum: active and passive; single and multi-manager - both locally and internationally. Our active funds range are managed according to our pragmatic value investing style. What will you do?

Liaises closely with the Marketing Department in the creation of all Company communications. Generates content, edits and copy writes as required for the organisation which could include marketing, sales and financial communications, which could include institutional and personal investments; client letters, invitations, client presentations, conferences and staff events, brochure ware etc. In collaboration with Marketing, develops annual communications strategy to ensure a leading voice with target markets across all media channels: print, television, radio and digital. Liaises with marketing on the identification of newsworthy content for submission to all media channels. May assist with the production of integrated reporting and the creation of abridged annual reports. Produces and writes the quarterly staff newsletter. Continuously researches and monitors company brand’s health performance and the impact of communication and identifying areas for improvement. May manage websites and participates in the design of a customer feedback capability in respect of internal communications service delivery. Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate investment knowledge and use this to generate copy accurately and creatively - in collaboration with the greater Communications and Marketing team.
Generate or edit copy; for, but not limited to, owned digital platforms such as social media and web, internal communications, PR & media, client channels and external facing annual/biannual reports. This involves working closely with multiple points of contact across the business, including portfolio managers, investment teams, client groups, client operations and marketing.
Generate reports.
Facilitate engagements with stakeholders for the Communications team.
Assist in developing and implementing a communications strategy and annual plan that supports the Communications team objectives.
Create written agency and marketing team briefs.
Manage the business’s photo databases.
Liaise with the media and maintain relationships with them where required.
Coordinate the delivery of communications activities including internal communications, intranet and internet content management, CSI projects, client communications, etc.
Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of communications programs and use results to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

**Minimum Requirements**:
Degree with an emphasis in Communications and English. Economics or similar financial qualification would be ideal, although not essential.
At least 3-5 years’ experience as a Communications professional, in Financial Services - preferably Asset Management. Investments writing experience will be advantageous.
The ability to produce new content or edit existing investment copy for a range of different audiences (institutional, financial advisers and direct investors) and to many different platforms.
A working knowledge and understanding of the asset management industry. Technical Competencies

At least three to five years communications experience in the financial services industry and knowledge of a range of tools, channels and events including:
Ability to work with people at all levels across the company and manage out
- sourced resources.
A very high degree of customer orientation as well as a clearly developed ability for working in a team, with a clear result-oriented focus.
Have an entrepreneurial spirit which is essential for picking up new projects.
Ability to proactively identify communication opportunities.
Proven experience in coordinating media activities within the financial services industry.
Excellent organisational skills, team-oriented attitude, ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks from multiple sources.
Excellent writing, editing and oral communication skills; experience writing in clear journalistic style.
Good understanding of Digital communication tools and the optimisation thereof.
Good computer literacy.
Understanding and knowledge of asset management industry as well as project management experience would be advantages.
