Our Hardware Retail store, located in the South of Johannesburg, is looking for a Pool Specialist Sales Assistant to compliment their dynamic Sales Team.

The job requires the following Knowledge and Skills:

- Assist customers by being available to answer questions on pool related products such as pool pumps,chemicals, sand filters etc.
- Assist customers with the best options available for their specific needs.
- Use the FAB model (features, advantages and benefits) to increase the customer basket size.
- Assisting customers through the entire purchasing process, including loading / off loading goodspurchased / returned to ensure excellent customer service.
- The ability to work independently AND as part of a team.
- Sales assistants must be able to work under stressful conditions while still exhibiting attention todetail, accuracy and friendly attitude.
- The ability to keep abreast of all promotions within the hardware store to assist customers efficiently and effectively.
- The Pool Specialist Sales Assistant is responsible for ensuring that the store is clean and tidy, that the correct stock is merchandised in the correct place as well as correctly priced within their area.
- Able to address customers complaints or queries, escalating them to the relevant Head of Department or Store Manager if necessary.
- Willing to work on a weekend and Public Holidays as this is a requirement within the retail market.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

Grade 12

Minimum of 3 years sales experience in the hardware retail market.

Excellent pool product knowledge. On the job training certificates is advantageous.

Computer Literate

Must be able to read and write in English and the abiliy to communicate in 2 (two) or more other languages

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: R5,000.00 - R8,000.00 per month

- Johannesburg South, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
