**We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer for a 5 year contract based in East London, Eastern Cape**

**Applicants are required to meet the following criteria**:

- Relevant qualification and Qualified CA (SA)
- 10 years’ experience (at least 5 of these at a senior management level and 5 within a development finance institution, private sector or parastatal)
- Knowledge and experience in internal / external audits, IT Governance and due diligence
- Experience in sustainability and commercialization initiatives

**The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to**:

- Overseeing the development and implementation of the group financial accounting, management accounting, consolidated reporting and procurement policies and procedures
- Facilitating delivery of financial and administrative support services
- Preparing and presenting the financial statements including its subsidiaries and liaising with both the internal and external auditors
- Ensuring that the company maintains a clean audit outcome
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, banks, investors, insurers
