Personnel Security Vetting Fieldworker

The main purpose of this position is to assist the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) with vetting fieldwork to address the current vetting backlog.
Detailed Description
Compile vetting reports and vetting investigative memorandums.
- Prepare files for ratification by the State Security Agency.
- Identify and proactively report personnel-related risks to the SARB.
- Ensure compliance with the National Strategic Intelligence Act 39 of 1994 and other relevant legislation.
Job Requirements
a Bachelor’s degree in Social or Behavioural Science, or an equivalent NQF 7 qualification;
- at least three years’ experience in personnel security vetting fieldwork, with a strong track record of high-quality work over this period;
- successfully completed accredited training in personnel security vetting;
- knowledge of minimum information security standards, national vetting policy guidelines and national vetting norms; and
- experience in the use of the Microsoft Office suite (including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Outlook as well as the Internet and an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

Additional requirements
- reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence;
- experience in freelancing will be an added advantage.
