**About the position**:

- Implement the Group ESG policy
- Develop and implement procedures to fulfil the goals/KPIs set within the ESG policy
- Report on ESG performance and suggest actions toward improvement
- Oversee SHE functions at manufacturing

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) reporting for Inland regions by assisting the Risk and Compliance Manager in reporting
- Perform OHS audits from time to time when the need arises
- Perform ISO 14001 audits from time to time when the need arises
- Provide assistance in the management of the SHE (Safety Health Environment) certified system
- Work cross functionally with the Group e.g., Production, Commercial, Finance, SHE, Technical, branches to facilitate meeting of ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) KPIs
- Work towards developing projects and or initiatives to meet ESG KPIs e.g. Carbon Footprint Reduction, recycling of waste, improving energy management/performance
- Lobbying on behalf of the Group with stakeholders e.g. government to facilitate compliance with standards
- Conduct research and implement best practices to advance ESG ideals of the Group
- Advise on legislation applicable to corporate social responsibility and those falling under the scope of ESG, make recommendations toward compliance
- Create guidelines, checklists, policies, procedures, and other related program content, to align with best practice and frameworks, and enable clients to carry out and enhance programs
- Draft narrative content for sustainability reports, trends reports, and other communications
- Lead or provide advisory support in professional design and layout of reports and communications
- Lead or support qualitative landscape/benchmarking studies on corporate sustainability programs, goals, disclosures, performance, and rankings among companies, with corresponding data collection and analysis for client sustainability reporting, industry research, and data management needs
- Support collaborative initiatives throughout the Group, including technical advisory, and coordinating functions and engagement for meetings, calls, workshops, trainings, presentations, and events to advance ESG KPI achievement as well as refining ESG KPIs
- Create, update, and utilize project plans, reporting critical paths, tracking templates and data platforms for both processes and performance data for the Group, which incorporate the streamlining of various KPI reporting from all business units within the Group
- Facilitate using appropriate software e.g. GRI, CDP, RobecoSAM, SASB, TCFD to manage the Group’s ESG performance and help align to international best practices
- Implement the ISO/IEC 45001 standard in manufacturing and prepare CFG for certification
- Drive the safety, health, environmental and risk management strategy for the company’s operations
- Work with the Divisional Executive team to identify key organisation-wide trends/shifts/issues relating to SHE, that impact on strategy delivery and ensure that effective SHE plans are in place to address them
- Actively participate in group SHE activities and attend group management meetings and SHE forums
- Work with senior management and staff to implement the SHE strategy
- Drive the culture of safety ownership at all levels of the organisation with a strong emphasis on behavior based safety
- Review and monitor SHE objectives and targets
- Arrange and perform risk assessments applicable to the operations within the organisation
- Identify areas of risk and develop measures to eliminate, reduce and control them
- Provide an assurance and audit role for relevant standards and legislation within the Group
- Monitor and report on the Group’s SHE performance
- Assist Risk and Compliance Manager in ensuring full legislative compliance
- Assist staff and contractors to comply with relevant legislation, regulations and standards
- Inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards
- Provide Occupational Health and Safety related advice and expertise to the Group
- Ensure prompt reporting, investigation and remedial action implementation/completion of all incidents and accidents to management (line, functional and senior)
- Coordinate and maintain the establishment of the First Aid team
- Secretary of Health and Safety committee and alternate Chairperson of monthly safety meetings
- Identify risks and correct any hazards
- Ensure SHE Committee Representatives conduct inspections and ensure corrective actions are addressed as well as providing minutes for these meetings

- Ensure contractor compliance with company rules and regulations
