**Umhlanga** based company is looking for a Procurement Administrator to join their team.
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years of purchasing experience in the construction/hardware industry.
- Knowledgeable regarding common construction-industry terminology and practices.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Experience using any accounting software - from PO- DN-Payable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills (advanced excel).
- Strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Own vehicle.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the process purchase orders, requisitions and other purchasing documents for the purchase of material, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with orders material.
- Analyse quotations received.
- Coordinate and administer material returns, credits, and refusals.
- Maintain strong and positive relationships with suppliers.
- Ensure a mínimal number of backorders are needed in the field.
- Helps other employees, as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of procurement documents and agreements for the materials needed.
- Assist in preparing procurement status reports and expediting reports on excel.
- Assist in sourcing and qualifying potential suppliers to provide required goods of service.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
