**Exciting opportunity to work at MACTOOL’s Johannesburg Branch East Rand, Boksburg. MACTOOL is a leading distributer, importer, and wholesaler of quality products in the construction, flooring, tiling, core drilling, and diamond tooling industry.**

**Purpose of The Position**:
**Counter salesperson,**

First contact who meets customers when they enter MACTOOL offices JHB.

Provides excellent customer service.

Take responsible for answering customer questions, advising customers and /or make,

recommendation on alternatives product, upselling where required.

Above all, behave in a friendly professionally manner to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Interact with clients, ability in opening and closing sales skill.
- Provide product information with knowledge to answer any questions.
- Receive payments via cash of card machine and/ or account customers.
- Preparing picking slips, and processing sales orders for delivery or for collection at the sales counter.
- Process quotations, follow up with back orders timeously with efficiency.
- Ensure front of house counter sales area presents a clean and tidy show room.
- Treat all customers with respect and courtesy.
- Additional responsibilities deemed necessary by management.

**Application Requirements**:

- Matric.
- Experience in consumer / retail environment in a similar industry.
- With excellent attention to detail.
- Good organizational and admin skills
- Punctual - Trustworthy - with Integrity.
- Ability to work well under pressure when applicable.
- Good internal and external communication skill
- Micro Soft, Sage Experience or K8 ERP Software system advantages.

**Ability to commute/relocate**:

- East Rand Boksburg JHB: Reliable commute and /or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
- Education:

- High School (Matric) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sales or Retail: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
- Afrikaans (preferred)

Pay: From R12 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Boksburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Similar: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English & Afrikaans (preferred)
