Key Duties & Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following broad job functions:
Has the ability to lead multiple phases of a project and/or multiple small projects of moderate scope and sometimes complex assignments
Is able to take full responsibility for a certain test area and conditions and has a solid understanding with respect to analysis and design, implementation and system integration, execution as well as results evaluation, problem resolution and planning.
Knowledge in quality assurance methodologies and has awareness of new and emerging technologies and developments.
Has the ability to provide input into quality assurance plans, data, procedures, and scripts.
Able to provide input to test coverage, design specifications and defining conditions for given requirements and uses appropriate tools and frameworks.
Able to assist in creating test cases and help prepare for evaluations. Has the ability to execute and run tests and retests as necessary, designing test scenarios and executing test scripts in area of accountability.
Experience in analysing and reporting overall test status and results, identifing issues and reporting to relevant stakeholders, able to manage risks to the success of the project.
Has the ability to identify and manage the critical path of testing and ensures execution of project regression tasks. Can define regression tests for future projects and define and coordinate production verification and validation.
Can create traceability records, from test cases back to requirements, reporting on system quality and collecting metrics on test cases.
Able to actively participate and deliver on own objectives within projects, helping out other team members and providing input into team project planning.
Identifies test issues, reporting risks and defining regression tests for current and future projects and logs these as best practices and learning points.
Excellent communication skills, adapts style accordingly and demonstrates an understanding of the audiences perspective. Uses discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
Good self management. Can set and work to quantified goals and standards. Delivers by being aware of and considering the commercial impacts.
