**Trails Guide | Kruger National Park | 5 Star Lodge**:
We are currently looking for a **TRAILS GUIDE** to join this well-known hospitality group with luxury lodges located in the Kruger National Park

The Trails Guide will be required to guide guests, on foot and by vehicle, providing a holistic safari experience, as well as actively assist the Safari Manager with the administrative operation of departments and mentorship/leadership of the Field Guides

**Key Focus Areas for the Trails Guide**:

- Delivering an unforgettable guest experience on foot and from a game viewing vehicle
- Training
- Standby functions on a rotational basis
- Basic vehicle maintenance
- Observe and follow reserve and lease and concession agreement rules and regulations
- Teamwork
- Conservation
- Host guests during their stay at the lodges
- Guest Transfer to/from the lodge
- Deliver informative lectures to guests on relevant ecological topics
- Ensure you have a working knowledge of weapons handling, safety, proficiency, and operating procedures
- Facilitation of good interpersonal relations between Safari Staff, Lodge staff and guests
- Safely view potentially dangerous game with guests, from a vehicle and on foot

**Requirements - Qualifications and Skills**:

- FGASA Qualified Field Guide and Trails Guide
- SAPS Competency
- FGASA, ARH, First Aid, PrDP and NDT registrations must be current
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Able to perform under pressure with a high sense of responsibility
- Passionate about guest satisfaction
- Good administration skills
- Excellent People’s skills
- Constant endeavor to improve qualifications and skills through mentorship and training
- A thirst to be better than Yesterday
