**Maxwell+Spark is looking for a Quality Control Inspector (Off-site)**

**Position/Title: Quality Control Inspector (Off-site)**
**Reports Too: Quality Control Manager**
**Function: Quality Control Inspector**
**Area: QC**
**Number of Reports 0**

**Overall Responsibility**:
On-site & off-site quality verification and checking

**Roles and responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:
**On-site work**
- Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and unacceptable materials.
- Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicate required adjustments to production engineer.
- Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work to production, and confirming re-work.

**Off-site (at suppliers) work**
- Inspect and approve manufactured products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable manufactured parts at suppliers.
- Inspects in-process manufactured products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicate required adjustments to suppliers and purchasing department.

**On-site & off-site work**
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarize re-work and waste, and input data into quality database.
- Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements, and calling for repairs if required.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Requirements (for screening purposes)
- Matric
- 3+ years working experience
- Drivers license

**Preferred Requirements**
- Experience in quality roles
- Own transport

**Preferred Skills/Competencies**
- Attention to detail
- Self motivated
- Focus on Quality
- Independene
