The role will assist in the development and implementation of the company’s clients strategy by focusing on the day-to-day operational performance, analysis, management reporting, and operational transaction support activities

The role requires:

- Process/post invoices and credit notes
- Reconciliation of creditor’s accounts and resolving queries
- Confirmation of Inter-company balances
- Receive and verify invoices and all relevant documentation to process payments for creditors Follow up on all missing documentation
- Ensure that payments have been authorized according to the required financial procedures Perform the day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions according to the relevant accounting system for payment authorization
- Validate, approve and post invoices
- Prepare vendor reconciliations
- Resolve all vendor queries
- Prepare the paperwork/backup documents for the payment run
- Ensure suppliers are paid on pre-determined payment terms
- Monitor vendor accounts to ensure that payments are up to date
- Forward proof of payments to suppliers when required
- Maintain a current and accurate filing system for the creditors function
- Assist with general administration and financial duties
- Make sure that the vendor age analysis has no queries (especially no debit or old outstanding balances)
- Assist with Month End creditor reporting and reconciliation
- Assisting the Asst Accountants with month-end accounts
- Support other team members when required
- Ad hoc tasks required by management

**Qualifications**

Matric

Finance related diploma is advantageous

3 years accounts payable experience

Xero and Dext certified would be very advantageous

**Salary**: R18,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Woodmead, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- accounts payable: 3 years (required)
