Architectural Consultant**Purpose of the role**:
ASSA ABLOY is looking to appoint an Architectural Consultant to identify and secure project Specification and Sales opportunities, develop key stakeholders’ relationships, and deliver comprehensive ASSA ABLOY specification solutions in respective market. _This role will report to the Head of Specification and will involve working closely with the other members of the Specification team and other ASSA ABLOY business colleagues to develop and maximise opportunities and convert Specifications to Orders for respective market._

**_Responsibilities:_**
- Identify and secure Door and Hardware Specification sales opportunities
- Establish and nurture a productive and collaborative business relationship with key stakeholders as architects, contractors, distribution and end users, while practicing as professional advisor to them across the project lifecycle
- Act as main contact for the project and represent ASSA ABLOY in any relevant project meeting
- Obtain and handover to the Specifier all required information to enable a fluent specification process, and validate that deliverables are compliant with ASSA ABLOY KPI, local regulations, and customer/project requirements
- Provide to the customers complete and compliant ASSA ABLOY door opening solutions deliverables including hardware and door schedules, bills of quantities, quotations, etc.
- Work closely & collaborate with ASSA ABLOY Specifiers, Specification Consultants, Project Managers and other business partners to maintain, defend, deliver and convert to orders a pipeline of specification projects
- Support value added sales and marketing activities and events to promote ASSA ABLOY Specification and solutions
- Conduct product training, demonstrations and promotions to customers
- Write specification from time to time as required to support demand
- Participate regularly in internal Specification and Sales meetings responding and following up on related enquiries and performance
- Meet agreed upon goals and objectives that include targeted specification volumes and focus product groups, targeted Specification solution opportunities and their conversion to orders, participation in events and customer meetings.

**_ Required Qualifications / Experience:_**
- Educated to a related degree or with related field extensive work experience. Degree in Architecture or Construction Management, a plus
- Working knowledge of architectural and construction documents and Door and Hardware standards and regulations, a plus
- Working experience in sales and/or marketing functions, a plus
- LEED, BREEAM or alternative local scheme credentials, a plus
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction documents including door schedules, floor plans, elevations, wiring diagrams, etc.
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of major Microsoft 'Office Suite' software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
- Knowledge of Autodesk® AutoCAD®, Autodesk® Revit® Architecture or GRAPHISOFT® ARCHICAD® software, a plus.
- Detail orientated with strong organizational skills and follow up habits
- Ability to meet multiple project deadlines and exercise effective time management
- Strong communication skills and professional presentation skills
- Ability to travel as required for the role
