Duties and responsibilities

**Responsibilities**:
Assist with receiving, storing, and distributing goods.
Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and organization.
Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Assisting with various tasks to maintain the day-to-day operations.
**Receiving**: acquiring products in specified quantities at a warehouse facility
**Putting away**: moving received products to optimal locations within a warehouse facility
**Storing**: keeping products in their designated locations until shipping
**Picking**: collecting stored products to fulfil customers' orders
**Packing**: consolidating and preparing products in a customer's order
**Shipping**: transporting a customer's order to a specified destination
Scanning product codes
Weighing products within orders
Confirming delivery addresses and postage costs
Printing and adhering shipping labels
Taking note of damaged or returned products
Using supply chain software to optimise operations
Helping to oversee other teams

**Requirements**:
Minimum two years of experience in a distribution centre environment.
Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
Fluent in Business English.
Availability to work shifts and weekends as required.
Proficient in computer skills (supply chain software)
Extreme attention to detail
Physical strength
