**Job Specification**

This position is situated in our Distribution Centre in Paarl, Western Cape. The incumbent will on a rotational basis, and may be responsible for one of the four workstreams of the Distribution Centre. (Workstreams: Inbound, Inventory, Picking, Outbound).

**Minimum Requirements**
- B Degree (Logistics)
- A minimum of 4 years experience within the relevant industry

**Key performance indicators**

**Growth**
- Forecasting and planning of resource requirements (people and equipment) to support DC Throughput growth.
- Forecasting and planning of warehousing space allocation requirements to support DC Throughput growth.
- Forecasting and planning of Service Provider (3PL) requirements to support DC Throughput growth

**Optimisation**
- Initiation and execution of DC resource optimisation initiatives.
- Optimising warehousing operations (materials handling).
- Continuous evaluation of distribution processes and identification of opportunities for improvement.
- Execution of policies and standards pertaining to materials handling and ensuring compliance to safety standards

**Leveraging Culture & Diversity**
- Set performance expectations, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Maintain internal and external stakeholder relations.
- Responsible for relationship management with stakeholders and ensures adherence to Service Level Agreements

**Digital Transformation**
- Leveraging advanced system technologies to enhance the efficiency of the DC.
- Monitoring of systems service provider support.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and executing inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and losses.
