Ap & Ar Specialist

Mining concern based near Strydom Park is looking for an Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Specialist who has a proven track record of high volume processing.

**Requirements**:

- Finance related Diploma or Degree
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within the mining or manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of JD Edwards and Excel
- Minimum invoices processed: 200 per day
- Minimum accounts processed: 300 per month

**Duties**:

- Collections of outstanding amounts from debtors
- Reporting on debtors outstanding and action plans for long outstanding debtors
- Completion of debtor’s reconciliations
- Reconciliation of debtor’s sub ledger to general ledger
- Compile weekly/monthly reports as required
- Complete debtor’s month end
- Understanding of a 3-way match process
- Liaise with supplier, procurement and operations departments
- Preparing payment forecast
- Supply details of accruals at month-end
- Prepare supplier reconciliations for payment
- General financial modelling and analytical tasks
- Compile monthly, quarterly and annual stats
