- **Position Overview**:_
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Develop and deliver comprehensive modeling curriculum and lesson plans tailored to students of varying skill levels and ages.
- Provide group and/or individualized instruction and constructive feedback to students to help them improve their modeling techniques, posture, poise, and confidence.
- Organize and oversee modeling workshops, rehearsals, and competitions to showcase students' progress and talents.
- Mentor students in professional etiquette, grooming, and presentation skills necessary for success in the modeling industry.
- Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and industry standards in modeling and incorporate them into the curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged, supported, and motivated to excel.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to coordinate interdisciplinary projects and performances.
- Assist in recruiting new students and promoting the studio's programs and events within the local community and online platforms.
- **Requirements**:_
- Proven experience as a model or in the modeling industry, with a strong understanding of various modeling techniques and genres.
- Previous teaching or coaching experience, preferably in a formal educational setting or performing arts studio.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds and ages.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to plan and execute engaging lessons and activities.
- Passion for mentoring and empowering others, with a genuine desire to see students succeed and grow.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate students' schedules and studio events.
- Residency in the East Rand area, preferably in or near Boksburg, for convenient commuting to the studio.
- **Preferred Qualifications**:_
- Certification or training in teaching, coaching, or related fields.
- Additional expertise in related areas such as dance, acting, or personal styling.
- Experience participating in or organizing modeling competitions, fashion shows, or similar events.
