Our client is on the hunt for a Senior Debt Recovery Specialist and you will need to provide support to Credit Risk Advisors, and guidance to the credit risk team, in order to improve customer cashflow and minimise risk by proactively recovering any outstanding debt, using a variety of approaches and keeping the customer informed throughout the process.

Position Requirements:
Qualifications:

- NQF qualification / diploma or degree will be an advantage.

**Experience**:

- 10 years’ experience at practicing kindness, compassion, empathy and patience
- Minimum of five years’ experience in debt collection or credit control. Two to Three years’ experience with Credit Insurance.
- Experience in a Legal firm will be an advantage.

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Management, motivation and leadership:

- Schedule own tasks and tasks of DRS to get work done.
- Maintain a diary system or schedule

- Responsible for planning of own work to ensure effective time management.

- Understanding the system and utilizing all functions (creating views, pulling reports, capturing payments and payment schedules, generating documents, etc.) including documentation generation, to maximise efficiency and workflow procedure
