Key Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. Adhere to all Safety Health Environment (SHE) and housekeeping requirements at all times. Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times.- Develop and implement Procurement and Sourcing Strategy, analysis and tracking- Sourcing, tendering and contract management- Develop and execute supplier management processes to enable effective supply- Identify and implement projects to achieve sustainability goals- Provide leadership and management of the strategic sourcing and procurement teams- Drive cost reduction and cost containment of both direct and indirect spend

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- BSc/BEng with experience in supply chain management, or a Masters in business administration with 5-year sourcing and procurement experience- Experience in manufacturing and/or understanding of the manufacturing environment would be beneficial- Specialist knowledge of BBBEE legislation and codes- Proven management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers- Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels- Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills- Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities- Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines- Commercially and financially aware with experience of managing budgets and contract management- Attention to detail and accuracy will be highly required
