An exciting opportunity awaits you at Mondi South Africa. The **Paperlink**_ _**team is searching for an **Internal Sales Administrator**_ _**to join our business located in **Johannesburg/Bedfordview**.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for managing relationships both internally and externally, selling paper to existing customers, with a strong ability to acquire new business telephonically, while pursuing digital selling opportunities using the Paperlink Website. The incumbent will also need to have strong administrative skills to take on some admin work in the branch.

**Profile Requirements**:

- Business Admin/Sales National Diploma
- Business Degree an advantage

**Experience**:

- A minimum 3 years sales experience in a commercial environment
- Experience in the paper industry desirable

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Management and growth of own small customer base
- Responsibility for optimizing website to generate leads
- Qualify incoming leads to appropriate sales representative/setting up appointments
- Own and sales representatives RFQ’s
- Achievement of sales and margin targets in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager
- Telephonic calling on new and existing customers
- Seek solutions for customers to maximize and grow volumes and margins
- Input accurate sales forecasts (own)
- Assist in Logistics Planning for Customer deliveries
- Manage office admin/point of contact & small marketing portfolio
- Gather market intelligence such as prevailing market conditions, competitor activity and segment trends
- Work with the Regional Sales Manager and Credit Manager to minimize risk of bad debt and ensure responsible trading
