**Responsibilities**:

- Presentation and preparation of credit proposals and investment proposals
- Evaluation of counterparty and sectors, as well as instrument pricing, legal analysis and instrument structuring
- Quantitative and qualitative risk rating of instruments and counterparties
- Monitoring of sector and counterparty developments
- Negotiations and review of legal documents as required for transactions
- Development of the credit market understanding and investment opportunities
- Monitor the portfolio of debt investments

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of CA(SA) or CFA qualified
- Minimum of 4-6 years’ credit risk experience in the investment banking or asset management space
- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and professionalism
- Highly analytical, with strong business acumen and high attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of the structured credit investment and legal agreements
- Strong knowledge of credit and fixed income
- Self-motivated, professional, dynamic and passionately results driven
