Fantastic opportunity for a young CA(SA) or Finance Honours Graduate working towards CFA to join a credit investments team. The role is responsible for credit portfolio risk analysis and research. Really exciting opportunity to work with an experienced team

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform thorough analysis and research to evaluate credit risks of issuers
- Analyse credit value of companies
- Understand market dynamics and company foundations
- Implement set models to compute probability scores
- Implement debt investment plans with new and existing borrowers
- Gain exposure to assets in infrastructure funds
- Refine prime framework and include current analytic tools and reporting
- Validate investment models
- Input into the broader responsible investment policies and impact investment strategies
- Document all research, process and validation
- Verify that data used is accurate and recent

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of CA(SA) or CFA or Honours or Masters qualified
- Minimum of either a newly qualified CA(SA) with a genuine interest in a career in credit/ fixed income or from Financial Engineering or Capital Markets teams or a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a role with credit or fixed income exposure
- Advanced Excel skills essential and model building experience advantageous
- Willingness to learn python programming in the medium term
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and professionalism
- Excellent work ethic, motivated and results driven
