The Vendor Recruitment and Listing Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that Eventors maintains a diverse and high-quality vendor database. They are responsible for overseeing vendor recruitment, reviewing and adjusting vendor listings, and ensuring that each vendor's listing meets the standards required for clients to confidently book their services. This role also involves actively seeking out new vendors to onboard and maintaining a curated list of vetted vendors.

This role require working during USA hours (EST and PST) 4pm - 12am South Africa time
**Able to start immediately**

You must have access to fast internet and a computer.

This role is remote at first and in office once the local team has expanded.

**Responsibilities**:

- Vendor Recruitment: Proactively research and identify potential vendors that align with Eventors' standards and target market. Engage in outreach efforts to attract new vendors to join the platform. Maintain a well-curated list of quality vendors across various event categories.
- Vendor Listing Review: Review and assess incoming vendor listings to ensure they meet the platform's quality standards and include all necessary details for clients to make informed bookings. Evaluate the vendor's qualifications, portfolio, and reviews to determine their suitability for the platform.
- Listing Adjustments: Collaborate with vendors to make necessary adjustments and enhancements to their listings. Provide guidance and support to vendors in optimizing their profiles, including updating descriptions, pricing, services offered, and availability.
- Vendor Vetting: Conduct thorough vetting procedures to ensure that vendors meet the required standards of professionalism, quality, and reliability. Verify licenses, certifications, and references as necessary.
- Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with vendors to provide feedback, address inquiries, and assist them in optimizing their listings. Collaborate with other team members, including marketing and customer support, to ensure a seamless vendor experience.
- Quality Assurance: Continuously monitor and assess vendor performance, client reviews, and feedback to maintain a high standard of quality on the platform. Take appropriate actions to address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience within the event industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to assess vendor quality based on various criteria.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with vendors effectively.
- Familiarity with the event industry and an understanding of client needs and preferences.
- Proficiency in conducting research and staying updated with industry trends and vendor offerings.
- Organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple vendor listings and recruitment efforts.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

**Salary**: R10,000.00 per month
