Fault finding and repair of production equipment.
- Proficient with Programmable Logic Controllers and Camera systems.
- Must be able to write and make changes in control software.
- Knowledge of electrical automation systems, variable speed and servo drives and motors.
- Basic hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Reading of electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics schematics.
- Knowledge of basic computer components and networks.
- Continuous improvement techniques.
- Knowledge of Profinet and RCOAX Systems.
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi Systems and Network Diagnostics.
- Basic hand skills and knowledge of test equipment
- G8D completion on breakdown exceeding 10min.
- CCMD completion for breakdowns
- 3 years National Diploma in Mechatronics/Electronics Engineering or N6 with Trade certificate in Electrical or Electronic Mechanic.
- 2-3 years’ experience in Industrial Network system environment.
- Excellent working knowledge in Vision systems and scanners e.g., Cognex, Sick
- Siemens TIA Portal.
- SEW, Simotion Controls and drives
- Proficient in MS Office
- Proficient in Phyton, C++.
- Adhere to company safety standards and always maintain work practices.
- Minor PLC program modifications regarding Vision Systems and Networks.
- Fault finding, repair and maintenance of production equipment.
- Continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Project work e.g., installations and decommissioning
- Report writing e.g., failure analysis and record keeping
- Maintenance and regular updating the electronic database of control software.
- Maintain and control of electronic spares in the plant.
- Assist with training of electricians and in-service trainees
- Knowledge sharing e.g., procedures and single point lessons
- Champions machines top faults problem solving.
