Job description / core competencies:
Must be able to set up, maintain and repair electronic systems and devices. Will have to test system performance, analyse, and report on results. Will be required to conduct the testing, repairing, and programming of PCB's. Must have experience with jig tools and soldering stations.

Be able to do and understand Electrical/Electronic design (i.e., PCB Layout Design, Schematic Design, Electrical Diagram Design), put together Bill of Material (BOM) and write comprehensive reports for the company and customers.

Assist in the identifying of solutions for system breakdowns and malfunctions. Possess significant experience in the maintenance, repair and troubleshoot/fault finding on the products/equipment sold and serviced by the company. Be able to do electrical wiring. Run prototype and simulation of electronic circuits. Observe absolute quality work on all repairs and repair reports.

Qualification:
National Diploma in Electronics or equivalent.

Skills required:

  • Handson experience with electronic testing and circuitry.
  • Familiarity of having worked on multiple circuitry devices.
  • Must possess a good ability to transform knowledge into practice.
  • Be able to use MS Office and diagnostic software.
  • Must have an uptodate knowledge and familiarity with new industry related technologies.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience working in an Electronics repair centre and/or company.
  • Have a qualifications background in electronics.
