Specialist: Landlord Relationships

**Role purpose**:
To provide administrative support to TowerCo’s Property Management Department by processing applicable documentation to ensure that rental and electricity consumption payments are made timeously and to liaise with landlords, electricity providers and other third parties to assist with enquiries. Assisting to process lease/contract data for data migration. Assisting in all administrative related duties.

**Your responsibilities will include**:
Build and maintain good business relationships with landlords in line with Towerco objectives
Stakeholder engagement with relevant government bodies and associations to strategically position the Towerco to achieve its long-term objectives.
Implement the Towerco “perfect lease” strategy with the aim of maximising onward tenancies and cost containment in the long run
Timely renewal and renegotiation of rentals (focus on reduction of rentals)
To facilitate communication between Towerco, Landlord & contractors.
Regular Site Meetings and updates with Landlords
Dispute resolution ensuring business continuity and prevent site lockouts.
Manage ground rent direct expense budget
Support of site activities including upgrades through close coordination with landlords
Support in securing Right of Way for MNO
Support site acquisition efforts where needed

**Technical / professional qualifications**:
Relevant 3 year Degree / National Diploma / Equivalent experience (Knowledge Skill Abilities)
Understanding of basic business principles
Relevant Property Legislation & leasing
Knowledge of Policies and procedures
5 - 7 years Negotiating experience
5 - 7 years working with property/base stations (Desirable)
