**Small kitchen and furniture company seeking a joiner and cabinet maker to join our workshop. Based in Maitland, Cape Town.**

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Produce furniture and cabinetry products independently, to high quality standards.
- Provide regular feedback of progress to the team lead and identify possible delays to the work schedule.
- Communicate low levels of stock to your team lead.
- Assist the team lead in performing routine maintenance of tools & machinery.
- Assist in coaching the more junior workshop staff to develop their skills.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in making solid wood furniture and panel-based cabinetry.
- Experience with a reputable furniture company is required.
- Portfolio of work and/or employment references
- Driving license (Code: B)
