The development of new sustainability content to accommodate customers that operate in different contexts (i.e. macadamia farming vs. trout farming).
Desktop research and building understanding and knowledge in the context of different industries, commodities, and operating environments in the agriculture and food system supply chains.
Disseminating and writing content for our sustainability frameworks (includes environmental, social and economic aspects of sustainability).
Mapping of global compliance standards to our frameworks.
Identifying and building relevant and meaningful business sustainability success performance indicators across industry contexts.
Researching & consolidating sustainability good management practices for different industries & contexts.
Product content maintenance; updating and uploading content to the SHERPA online system via the online internal Admin interface.
Refining and maintaining standard operating procedures.
Providing support to the broader team as needed.
Incorporating new sustainability content into the tool in line with new protocols, regulations, customer needs and research.
Updating & training team members on content updates, or new content that has been developed.
Contributing to and working in line with an overarching content plan and milestones.

**Qualifications**:
A genuine passion for sustainability with an appropriate level of understanding and knowledge of sustainability issues and solutions in primary production and the food industry.
BEng, BSc, BCom, or similar
Experience in the agricultural and/or food industry
Ideally at least 1 year of work experience
Research, comprehension, writing and knowledge dissemination skills
Passion for learning, research and for developing understanding
Excellent writing and communication skills
Attention to detail
Excellent understanding of agriculture & food supply chains
Ability to work independently, to take initiative and ownership
Ability to work well in a team
Good time management and prioritisation skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Comfortable in the use of IT platforms
Happy to complete routine tasks
Based in Stellenbosch region or surrounds
Have a valid SA drivers’ license and own transport
