Compensation Execution Coordinator

**Purpose of the Job**:
**Job Objectives**:
**Employee Centric Delivery**:
- Assist with day-to-day tasks related to package structuring and employee compensation.
- Support the Compensation Execution team in handling status change requests, package calculations, benefit allocations, and allowances.
- Collaborate with recruiters to ensure accurate package structures.
- Assist in the execution of annual increase and bonus processes, including distribution of letters.
- Contribute to the review of annual share allocations and vesting processes.
- Assist in approving car allowance extensions and other adhoc compensation considerations.
- Adhere to compensation data standards.
- Coordinate activities with other teams, respond to queries, and act as an escalation point for the People Support Desk.
- Provide support to the Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation Execution teams as needed.
**People (Self, Team & Organizational)**:
- Align efforts to deliver relevant compensation execution activities to the business.
- Contribute to fostering an innovative, agile, and employee-centric culture within the Compensation Execution team.
- Support employee wellness initiatives, ensuring employees are supported mentally, physically, and emotionally.
- Promote a culture of open and transparent communication within the Compensation Execution team.
Financial, Reporting & BI:
- Monitor compensation execution costs while ensuring service delivery to the Shoprite Group.
- Collect and utilize compensation execution data and business intelligence to enhance delivery of compensation activities.
**Governance & Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with organizational and legislative governance frameworks, legislation, and standards.
- Adhere to governance structures, policies, processes, and frameworks relevant to the role.
- Maintain data management processes in compliance with privacy and legal requirements.
**Future-Fit**:
- Collaborate effectively with other service, solution, and business areas.
- Identify relevant technology requirements for the Compensation Execution team and ensure optimal utilization.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in compensation execution processes to enhance efficiency.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field (beneficial).
- Matric Certificate or equivalent (essential).
**Experience**:
- +2 years of experience in Compensation Execution, Remuneration, or a related role, working with compensation frameworks, policies, procedures, and guidelines (essential).
- Experience in the FMCG, retail sector, or similar industry (preferred).
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- Demonstrable knowledge of compensation execution within the FMCG, retail sector (essential).
- Familiarity with HR policies, procedures, legislation, and regulations (essential).
