You will be responsible for the following:
Cut products in a cost effective and accurate manner according to specifications and delivers excellent customer service
Ensure the correct product mix is available for customers, follow efficient production planning and regulation of workflow
Ensure meat products are produced in accordance with specified minimum stock holdings
Rotating stock on regular basis
Cut according to standard cuts and joints
Correct weighing and pricing
maintain stock control and ordering that ensures that carcasses and finished product is always sufficient to meet customer requirements
ensure minimum waste with portion control and correct packaging
Provide excellent customer service and technical information to customers
Transport meat from one counter to another
Stock take and check stock levels - inform supervisor / manager when low
Traceability - Transfers (on relevant system)
Checking food sell by and expiry dates

House keeping
Quality control & hygiene
Adhere to SOP’s as well as health and safety procedures
Personal hygiene
Clean as you go and counter are to be cleaned
Production area to be kept clean, equipment and machinery
Wearing of correct uniform
Correct cleaning equipment to be used
**Education**:
Matric
NQF 3 Blockman / Certificate Meat / Poultry
Computer Literacy
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Driver’s License
**Skills**:Knowledge of meat cut products
Must have FMCG principles knowledge
Knowledge of meat market operations & hygiene and safety standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Afrikaans
**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R12,000.00 per month
