Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment is looking for a skilled and passionate Demi Chef de Partie to join a Luxury Hotel's culinary team based in Cape Town. The Demi Chef is responsible to delight the guests with exceptional culinary creations, prepared in accordance with the chef’s recipes and standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Adhere to health, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of all work areas, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep your assigned section organized, clean, and tidy.
- Inform the Head Chef of ingredient needs and orders.
- Prepare all mise-en-place freshly and on schedule.
- Present dishes with the correct garnish, portion size, and plating as specified.
- Optimize the cooking process for efficiency and quality.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment.

**Requirements**:

- Culinary Certificate/Diploma.
- Ideally 2-3 years of prior experience in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service orientation with outstanding people skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional relationship with all departments.
- Experience working with distinguished clientele is preferred.
- Traits of honesty, flexibility, and accountability.
- Friendly, approachable, and proactive demeanor.
- Professional attitude and punctuality.
- Strong self-discipline and attention to detail.
