**SHIFT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR - GERMISTON**

**Department**: Production

**Positions available**:Shift Production Supervisor working onsite in Germiston

**Pay rate**: To be discussed in the interview

a) To supervise 24 hour production on site;
b) To provide instructions to production shift, regarding production schedule;
c) To assist in complying with current Health and Safety Legislation;
d) To manage and discipline staff effectively and maintain a positive moral amongst the staff’;
e) To report back to operations management daily regarding flow of production and any production related queries ;
f) Will be responsible for the daily production planning and feedback on daily production figures;
g) To ensure all pre shift reports are done by the operators and handed in timeously;
h) To ensure that weighbridge slips are handed in after shift for invoicing;
a) Skills/ competencies/ experience/ qualifications:

- Numerate and literate (Must have a grade 12 qualification);
- Tertiary qualification in Production Management will be an added advantage;
- Must have an experience in Metal Recovery and Scrap handling;
- Understand scrap grading according to type of scrap;
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word, Office, Excel;
- Must be able to communicate thoroughly with Management and subordinates;
- Must have an extremely strong personality to control Site and employee dynamics;
- Must be available to work shifts - Morning / Afternoon and Nightshift;.
- Must also be prepared to work overtime from time to time;
- Must be a team player;
- Must have a Productive work ethic and ability to work independently;
- Thorough approach to work and accuracy with detail;
- Must have efficient managerial skills to maintain workforce;
- Must be able to Multitask;
- Must be able to work under pressure;
