Cashbook Administrator

**Job Purpose**
The team is meeting the finance requirements of the business and provide support to the Team Lead - Financial Operations
**Key Responsibilities**
**Payment processes**:
- Loading of Payments
- File bank statements and accounts
- Inter-account transfers
- Payment of Staff claims
- Daily Banking
**Daily & Month end cashbook processes**:
- Capture cashbook details for debtors and creditors
- Capture bank statements
- Process cashbook journal entries, reallocations and other journals
- Petty Cash administration
- Match payments and receipts
- Bank Admin (Application of credit cards and new bank accounts/Contact bank for any queries)
- Processing creditors month-end payments
- Capturing and Reconciliation of credit cards statements and supporting slips
- Reconcile bank accounts and Petty cash
- Ad-hoc filling
**Other duties**:
- Request forex rates from banks
- Book spot currency transactions
**Requirements**:
- Accounting diploma/ degree or equivalent qualification.
- 2 years experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
- Good excel skills and able to perform reconciliations.
- Analytically minded with the ability to work on own initiative and prioritise work.
- Deadline driven and goal oriented.
