The core purpose of this job is financial planning and analysis, as well as monthly financial reporting and ad hoc financial projects for two legal entities. The role will also have some treasury duties such as payment release, completion of hedging and forex transacting where applicable, and also assist with providing support to the financial controller and Head of Finance where necessary.

Education / Professional Certification
- SAICA AGA or CA(SA)

Experience
- 3-5 years relevant working experience.
- Power BI and SAP Business One (advantageous)

Primary duties and responsibilities
- Assisting with margin analysis, contract and tender pricing calculations, as well as other profitability metric analysis.
- Assisting with month-end closures and handling the internal and external reporting in the required formats.
- Preparation of detailed forecasting in co-operation with the heads of various business units.
- Assisting with the annual budgeting process, as well as forecast updates and cashflow forecasting.
- Understanding of financial management ad tracking of business performance vs contracts.
- Strong business partnering required between the finance team and business unit managers to report and drive results.
- Maintenance and support related to the budgeting and reporting models.
- Assisting with year-end and internal audits as and when required.
- Assisting with information for tax and VAT as required.
- Assisting with limited treasury functions where required (payment review/release, forex, hedging etc)
